Ep 133\\ Stop Grabbing For Junk When You Are Stressed! Do This One Thing Instead To Find Peace, Safety, And Security

Hey Mama, 

How do you handle your daily stress? Do you grab for junk food as a reward for surviving a stressful moment or day? Maybe you indulge in other forms of “junk” like dramatic television or social media scrolling. Whatever your quick fix, Mama, it never really seems to satisfy.

Our world is full of self help symposiums, encouraging us to take control of our situation and find our own solution. Unfortunately, much of life’s circumstances are outside of your control. And when we lose control, or feel like we have none, we reach for something that makes us feel satisfied and “happy”, even if just for a moment.

But, Mama, as a Christian, we are called to separate ourselves from the ways of this world. We are not to seek solutions for peace, safety or satisfaction in what the world offers, but rather, in the One who made the world.

So, Mama, today I am going to share with you one thing you can do to find peace, safety, and security in your moments of stress, instead of grabbing for that temporary “fix”.
